Now Hiring - Administrative Assistant

Summary: Under general supervision, provides professional level support for Business Licensing, Permitting, Finance and Administrative functions.  Position is responsible for customer service, payment processing, business license data entry and follow up and permitting assistance.  All administrative personnel shall be cross trained to perform the basic duties of other administrative staff from time to time in their absence. Confidentiality and discretion in all job duties is required. 

Requirements: 

  • Associate’s degree plus additional coursework in business administration, office administration, or related field with a minimum of (2) two years’ experience in human resources, data processing or office administration; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. 
  • Must possess valid driver’s license. 
  • Demonstrate:
    • Math skills including addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, and/or calculating ratios, rates, and percentages.
    • Capacity to serve others, attending to their requests and exchanging information with them.
    • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and custom applications.
    • Strong ethical standards, reliability, professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

Requirements:

FIREFIGHTER - VOLUNTEER

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid SC driver's license and three year driving record.

Special Requirements

IFSAC FIREFIGHTER 1 and medical first responder certification within first two years of service or currently possess.
